Great Game last night, and the Vikings played extremely well. The Packers just made a couple extra plays and a nice pick to end the game. Aaron Rodgers did exceptional and the play calling was schemed perfectly to help him succeed and he took advantage of it. Obviously his team was very nervous at the beginning of the game (1st and 33 doesn't happen very often) The run game was shaky for most of the game (Grants run was a pleasant surprise). I found the QB sneak to be a perfect ending to that game (shaky leap however) Defensively, they played well, Adrian Peterson (I'll refer to him as Purple Jesus since he helped me be successful last year in Fantasy Football) owned us early on in the game, but they got better after halftime. I think one problem for the Vikings was that T-Jack was more than willing to take off down the field, and while he was certainly successful in doing so, but you've got to go through your progressions. I think this comes from the fact that he played I-AA ball at Alabama State and if nothing was wide open, he could easily take off and pick up the first down with his feet. He'll get better, but that's a concern right now for the Vikes. Overall I would say it was a game that shows the Packers that this Viking team is very serious about contending, and doing it now. Aside from the Lions, it was a great weekend for the NFC North, they showed their competitive and that this isn't a one horse division.
What did you guys think of the game?
